Frequently Asked Questions
The short answer is – yes, absolutely. Whether it is a borrowed guitar, old inherited piano, or brand new drumset, you definitely need an instrument to start with. We teach our students What and How to practise, but it is up to them to go and rehearse when the lessons is over. If you only do something for 30min a week, the progress will be so slow that the student will quit within a very short time. So once again, having your own instrument at home is really important!
The lessons are either 30min in a one-on-one OR 60min in a group setting.
The lessons wil be held either at your school (if it is one of the S15 partner schools), at our main campus in Strubens Valley, at your house, or online.
Over the past 20 years we have written and perfected an amazing child-friendly syllabus that teaches both theory and the practical elements of the instrument. The syllabus was written by highly qualified teachers, and is regularly updated to include new trending songs, and general best teaching practises.
